DPS launch new online facilities |
|
The DPS are introducing a new look website with additional functionality to make it easier to manage your tenants' deposit online. An important new feature will be instant SMS Repayment ID reminders for your tenants. Your tenants will be able to text the DPS requesting a reminder of their repayment ID. All they need to do is send a text message to 07537 40 808 starting their message with 'Repay' followed by their 'deposit ID' and 'your deposit amount'. Their Repayment ID reminder will be issued instantly by return text message. For this process to work successfully, you must provide the DPS with your tenant's mobile phone number and email address when the deposit is submitted. You must also ensure that you provide the tenant with their Deposit ID. Tenants will be able to review and update their details online by logging in to the DPS website using their 'Deposit ID' and 'Repayment ID'. Other new facilities include: - incremental deposit payments to allow for the size of deposit to increase in line with rent
- enhanced direct transfer to enable allocation of monies already sitting in your direct transfer account
- ability to create a 'batch' if you are paying for multiple deposits
- joint repayment cancellation if you have started it in error or inserted the amount to be returned incorrectly
For further information please visit the DPS website. |
