About us

Westcountry Landlords Association is a not for profit organisation run by landlords for landlords.

Formed in 2007, the Association is already proving very popular throughout the westcountry, attracting members from Devon, Cornwall, Somerset and Gloucestshire and Bristol. Our association now boasts in excess of many members and is continuing to grow month on month.

The Association is run by an enthusiastic team of elected volunteer members who have a wide range of experience in a diversity of professions as well as all being landlords themselves. Our objective is to bring landlords together to share experiences and to provide a platform for landlords to express their views and have their interests represented both locally and nationally.

It is important that landlords are aware of legislation and procedures that affect their business. We aim to raise awareness and provide education, information and advice through regular public meetings with expert guest speakers, and frequent updates through our newsletters and e-bulletins. Help and advice is always available to members through our 24 hour helpline as well as the members area of our website. In addition, we hold regular free legal advice surgeries at the offices of Curtis Whiteford Crocker solicitors (Plymouth) and a telephone service with Henriques Griffiths (Bristol) also with Tax Advice surgeries.

We hope you will find our website useful and informative. If you have any ideas for services you think would benefit local landlords or have some feedback regarding this site, please let us know by emailing landlords4landlords@hotmail.co.uk

Mission Statement

"To provide a forum for all Landlords to express their views, so that these views can be collated and used to represent and promote the interests of Members at Local and National level and to determine the needs of Landlords by way of services, advice, information, education and training and to promote good practices, so that letting property can be seen to be of benefit to the community and carried out by serious and responsible business minded people."
